There are many paver patterns to choose from. Contractors, landscaping designers and architects come up with new ideas and designs everyday.
Interlocking comes from the pattern in which the bricks are laid. Thus, different patterns offer better interlocking strengths. The selection of a pattern depends upon the application and desired design. However, some patterns offer better interlocking than others. Herringbone patterns are commonly used in vehicular applications due to the strength accomplished by its ability to distribute weight amongst many pavers.
